If Jesus’ marriage relationship with the church is the model for our marriages, then applying Revelation 2 here is completely appropriate.
What we are going to do today is to quickly walk through some of the means of repairing those bridges, and we will do so in the categories of Body, Soul, and Spirit once again.
Intimacy in marriage is all three; body, soul, and spirit. You cannot neglect any of the parts – including the sexual.
I want to to encourage you in knowing what God desires for your marriage relationship, because, if God desires it, then He can also bring it to pass.
Anything that kills oneness must be stopped, because it tarnishes our testimony for Christ. It cannot continue to be part of our story. The “stop it one anothers” are aimed at these oneness killers.
Each act of humble, loving service is a prophetic act, pointing to the God of love.
